No protection from Ebay, even though the seller ships items different from those listed in the ad, useless protection, warning to everyone, seller auction sale problems purchase dispute claim
Summary: dandimt reports that a seller sends items that do not match the description and uses tactics to extend the return period beyond 30 days, making it difficult to open a dispute on eBay. They complain about the lack of protection from the platform and believe that discussions are being blocked to prevent further action. They advise avoiding the use of the platform given this alleged lack of protection. marioelegio responds by asking whether 30 days is enough for a return, implying a different issue with the return matter.
The seller sends items that do not match reality, using tactics to extend the return period so as to go beyond 30 days; in this case it is fraud and not a normal dispute.
When you ask eBay for help, you are not protected, making it impossible to open a dispute and likewise to contact them by email.
Replying only that they can be contacted through the courts, without even specifying which courts.
What's more, by posting the threads they also block those so you can't reply without giving any chance to dispute or upload evidence.
I recommend avoiding this platform, because even in cases of obvious fraud you are not protected

Mentore3 months agoIf an item doesn’t match the description and you notice it after 30 days... maybe it’s time to wake up earlier...
Kind regards.

Mentore3 months agoIf 30 days aren’t enough for you to request a return, would eBay be to blame?
