I bought and just paid for a nikon55micro, it has some problems I'd never seen before, now that the auction is over I saw,, It seemed to me that I had bid on one for 91 euros, failed,, I paid because it was my mistake but it's a scam all of it,,, I think it was slipped in somewhere,, not good on ebay's part,, I considered it more serious,,,,,

Mentore3 years agoIf you managed to see the defects even before paying for it, that means they were clearly visible in the listing.
If it was a scam, there was no way you could see them. You need to check the listing carefully before placing bids and not just take a quick look at the title and images.
Ebay does not check the condition of the items that are put up in listings; listing items for sale is the responsibility of the individual sellers. There are only some auction houses that provide this kind of service with their experts (at a hefty price for both sellers and buyers) and with results (at least in the case of photographic equipment) that are often catastrophic.
