I bought a bottle of perfume at the end of April, but I kept it sealed in a closet until a few days ago, because the previous bottle had not yet run out and lasted longer than expected: only when I opened it was it clear that this one doesn’t smell at all, not even after trying to spray it repeatedly.I understand that we are well beyond the seller’s return period – as they replied – but this is clearly a non-conforming product, because it is defective and therefore unable to perform the function that prompted the purchase.In this case, the law in force (the Consumer Code) states that the buyer has the right to invoke the “legal warranty” directly against the seller of the goods, even if different from the manufacturer, within TWO YEARS from delivery of the goods and that the action becomes time-barred after 26 months from purchase.I tried to get assistance from eBay, but the platform won’t accept my report (not even by asking to be called) because more than 90 days have passed since the purchase: how can I get in touch?Thanks
