I have no idea what the hell the I.A. of e-bvay wants
Obviously your A.I. messed up. I’ve been buying on e-bay for years, always paying with pay-pal when possible, you have my tax code, my address, my phone number, and now that I’m putting up for sale a product that’s at least 30 years old you want the purchase invoice, photocopies of documents, the water bill... ??? Take another look at your artificial intelligence and if you don’t reactivate my listing... whatever.
Goodbye
I’d like to send this email to e-bay but I can’t find the option. For the first time in 15 years as a buyer I try to sell a vintage item and they ask me for almost proof of “being alive”. I understand caution, but they have my address (always the same), my phone number (always the same), no complaints from sellers, my tax code, my email (always the same) and they would like the purchase invoice for the vintage product and much more ???
If that’s how it is, I give up and goodbye.
I’d appreciate some comments from other users.

Mentore3 years agoNo AI intervenes on these things, there are some special categories in which the risk of unauthorized sellers getting in is high and for that reason they ask for some additional information.
Account verification with a request for documents, utility bill, etc. is also done for simple buyers (when certain purchase volumes are exceeded). Being cautious about accepting new sellers would aim to improve buyer protection
If they are your personal items, I think a conversation with customer support is enough: https://www.ebay.it/help/account/contacting-ebay-customer-service/contatta-ebay?id=4379&st=3&pos=1&query=Contatta%20eBay&intent=contatta%20ebay&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1326
