Hello, I bought a welder on eBay, after a few days an Amazon courier showed up at my house to deliver the package, but to collect it he wanted an OTP code that never arrived to me, now I’ll briefly explain where the trick is. The seller bought the welder on Amazon, and left his credentials and his email, then he provided eBay with a shipping number ......... belonging to another person, with another address, the only thing in common is that we live in the same town, once the delivery of the package was confirmed, containing food items, weight and measurements completely different from the real Amazon package. I asked the seller to provide me with the OTP code I never received, once it was confirmed that the fake package had been delivered, he replied that it had been delivered, I asked eBay for a refund, and they sided with the seller. I am sure the seller provided a fake shipping number, found on the internet or who knows where, a seller who at the time of purchase was selling only four items, (welder, guitar, charger, etc. sells 2 items to 2 different people in a town of just over six thousand inhabitants like hitting 6 on the superenalotto, anyway (he does not sell food). To sum up, the seller sent the package with Amazon to my address, after the courier came to my house 7 times, he contacted his supervisor, we opened the package, and checked the contents, unable to collect it I had to send it back, to whom? to the seller, who got a refund from Amazon. If, instead, the fake shipment had not gone through, he would have given me the code to collect the package. I contacted eBay support several times, and they pretend not to understand, replying package delivered, despite all the evidence collected and photos in my possession, for them the case is closed, they didn’t even publish my feedback, because I called the seller a sc...er, all this to avoid criminal consequences, but who, me, him or them.

Mentore11 months agoThe problem stems from the procedure followed: when the package arrived, you were supposed to accept it no matter what it was and no matter who it was addressed to; then through eBay you were supposed to open a dispute for item not as described (it was not what you had ordered).
The seller would have been forced to refund you and, if he wanted the item back, to pay you the return shipping costs.
