I haven't received the item

On April 11, 2025, ''InPost'' sends me an email saying that I have picked up an item. I didn’t pick up anything!
The item, shipped from France with Mondialrelay , is taken over once in Italy by InPost, who informs me that the label on the package says “ La bottega di Zoe via Battista Tuveri 11 Sardana in Sardegna, I live in Turin! I speak with La Bottega di Zoe and they tell me that this problem is frequent with InPost for packages coming from France and they tell me to call InPost and get the PIN for pickup.
The Polish call center tells me that there is a problem, not better defined, so they can’t give me the PIN or tell me where the package is, confirms that it has not been delivered (even though it shows as delivered on the eBay site) and to open a claim with eBay. The eBay offices are closed until Monday! I can’t have them call me.
Why use InPost, which does not deliver to the recipient, but leaves the package at one of their centers?
Can anyone help me?

Mentore1 year agoHave the seller send you a copy of their shipping receipt, so you can figure out whether it was a label error or the courier’s fault.

If, instead, the courier made the mistake, you need to ask the seller for help, as they have a better chance of filing a claim.
If even they can’t get it resolved, all that’s left is to dispute the signature.

OP1 year agothe seller sent me the label and the address is correct.
how do I get eBay involved?
why can't I report "other actions" and then "I did not receive
the item"? is it because I have to wait 3 days?
what should I do?
I already told the seller to claim.
what do you mean by signature denial?

The problem is that eBay won’t be able to do much if the courier says the package was delivered. You can try using the link at the bottom of the page and have customer service call you so you can try to explain the difference between the two addresses.
The signature denial procedure is a complaint for forgery against the courier who claims to have delivered the package to the address on the label.
