Ebay only guarantees that the product will arrive and that it matches what you ordered. For this reason, ebay's customer guarantee is very short; it does not replace the legal warranty that the professional EU seller must provide to the consumer.

For the warranty, however, you need to contact the seller directly. This regulation does not apply to private sellers or those outside the EU.

You can also use the protection of the payment method you used: a dispute on PayPal's website or a chargeback through your credit card issuer.
