I can't return an item they sold me broken
I bought a camera and it doesn't work. I can't return the item, it's not clear where to send it, and above all I don't understand how to get a refund; the seller closes the return..what should I do?

OP1 year agowhen I execute the request "ask eBay to intervene", it always takes me back to choosing the item and then says that the return procedure already exists..basically you keep clicking on the same windows

OP1 year agoThe seller is international and I don't have his address to send it back, besides it costs quite a bit to ship to Great Britain

OP1 year agoI can’t get out of the process anymore, meaning the process tells me that a return is already open, but then if you go into it, it’s closed, and no one responds.

Mentore1 year agoThe return procedure was closed due to your inactivity; from September 9 you had 21 days to ask eBay to step in.
Now you can try to open a dispute on PayPal’s website (if you paid with PayPal) or ask your bank to do a chargeback (if you paid by credit card). But you need to pay attention to the procedures, this is your last chance.

Read carefully and choose the correct return reason, probably: the item does not match what was described in the listing; in this case the return shipping costs would be covered by the seller.
