I can't cancel an order for an out-of-stock item because....
ebay asks me to add a payment method to refund the customer, but the funds are held on ebay, so it’s not like I should have to refund them out of my own pocket. What should I do? thanks

Mentore3 years agoWith all due respect... did you read eBay's rules before starting to sell?
As a new seller, if you issue a refund, it’s up to you to pay it out of your own pocket, until your funds are released.
So, before the buyer gets irritated over a MISTAKE OF YOURS, add another payment method (credit card) and return what belongs to your buyer.
