I wasn't able to cancel an order
Good morning.
Last night I was preparing an international order for this lot ( https://www.ebay.it/itm/165945568939 ), but because of a mix of my inexperience and a misunderstanding with the buyer I found myself forced to cancel the order. And that’s where things went wrong because, somewhat rushed by the fact that the buyer wanted his money back, NOT BEING ABLE TO CANCEL THE ORDER, I don’t know why (maybe more than an hour had passed?), I processed the refund, with the result that:
-Ebay returned the money to the buyer MINUS the fees
-the order is still active
Where did I go wrong 😞 ?

Now, not knowing how you issued the refund, evidently you set it up the wrong way...

OP3 years agoI followed that procedure exactly, but I don't know why it wouldn't let me cancel it. Let's just say I was a bit panicked and acted without thinking.
Now I'll follow your advice, thanks for the reply.
