I can't find the option "Ask eBay to step in"
Good evening, last Wednesday I started the return procedure for an item due to non-compliance with the description, on Thursday the seller accepted, but since then they have not contacted me anymore and have not provided me with a shipping label (costs at their expense). I know that the seller has 3 business days to provide me with the label and if I do not receive it I can ask ebay to intervene.
However, when going into the details of the return there is no option "Ask ebay to intervene", how is that possible?

OP2 years agoUPDATE: I managed to ask eBay to intervene. In reality, the process is much less intuitive than it might seem; I don’t think there’s any option "Ask eBay to intervene", in fact I had to contact support (again through the usual useless maze of links) via chat, talk to one of their agents and ask for assistance. In this way I managed to convert the return process into a dispute.

Mentore2 years agoThis page would have definitely helped you:
Ask eBay to step in - buyers | eBay
Kind regards.

OP2 years agoThat page, which I had already checked, does nothing but send you back to the return details page, practically useless.

OP2 years agoToday is May 8, so in theory I should be able to ask eBay to step in, but I still don't see any "Ask eBay to step in"... this site is absurd.

Mentore2 years agoGood evening,
you have to count the 3 working days from the acceptance of the return... so if they accepted it on Thursday, they expire tomorrow, so from Wednesday you’ll have the option active.
Have a nice evening.
