I find that eBay's rules are too many and not always easy to understand; moreover, I find a sort of harshness toward sellers (who in the end are the ones who pay). I'll give you an example: a buyer returned an item quite conveniently after 15 days, but eBay gives the seller 2 days to inspect the item or else it refunds and that's it. It can happen that someone is on vacation, in the hospital, or simply unable to check the contents, but eBay doesn't care at all and refunds anyway (after all, it's not their money .....). Not to mention returns: any donkey can say that the item is not as described, they force you to pay for the return only to then find out that the item works perfectly fine and it's just the donkey who was a ..... ass. Meanwhile you've burned 20 euros in shipping for nothing......... If the return were paid by the buyer there would be 50% fewer cases and eBay would earn more by not having to issue refunds, but probably they already earn plenty .......... and I pay!

In this case we have the civil code which requires all sellers to bear the cost of returns in the event of non-compliance. Obviously, in the event of disputes, no one is able to prove who is right between seller and buyer. While it is true that sellers pay eBay, it is equally true that without buyers (who trust the platform) there would not even be any sellers.
Then you are a professional seller and as such you must know all the rules imposed on distance selling by legislative decree 206/05 (regarding second thoughts, returns, refunds, warranties, etc....).
As you can see, the times of Our Lord are gone.....
