New vendor struggling
Summary: brun-1185 is a new seller seeking advice on several issues related to selling items, such as understanding shipping costs, managing offers, and viewing messages. They experienced a problem where a sale appeared to be automatic, despite spending hours in chat with the platform. They're asking for recommendations on couriers and clarifications on whether it's correct to pay for shipping labels.
New seller in trouble
Hello. I kindly ask you for some help.
I wanted to put some items up for sale and I didn’t understand these things:
The seller. Do they have to pay part of the shipping? Do you have a courier you recommend.
When do you receive an offer? Where do you see it? When an offer comes in, can you reject it?
The problem arises from the fact that I received an offer but I didn’t see it in my eBay messages. So the sale was automatic. Even after four hours in chat with eBay.
Is it correct that you have to pay for the label to put on the package.
Thanks to everyone for the help you can give me.

Mentore1 week agoWhen you created the listing, you were the one who decided to use auction format and to decide: the starting bid and the shipping cost.
Next time be careful, never write things like this ...
So when the auction ended, you sold the item to the highest bidder and now you have to buy the shipping label yourself (on ebay or at the post office or another courier), since the buyer pays you for the item and the shipping (even if only 1 euro, as requested by you).
