Mandatory delivery to a pickup point with no choice

Hello everyone. As a buyer, I don’t understand why I’m being forced to buy with delivery to a pickup point (or else the order gets canceled) when I want the goods delivered to my home instead. Since I’m paying for shipping (and/or it’s included in the price), I don’t see why I’m being denied the choice between the 2 options. Basically, to buy certain items I have to get in my car and go pick up the goods somewhere when I could just as easily have them delivered to my home. How do you deal with this?

Mentore1 year agoIf one or more of the conditions stated in the listing are not to my liking, I change seller or, if I can, I give up on the purchase.
If that product is available only with those conditions and I really want it, I take the car and go pick it up.

OP1 year agoThanks. You're absolutely right. But the fact that you can enter your buyer address and not specify ANY pickup point and keep filling out the entire order form, makes me think that choosing home address or a pickup point are optional options, as happens on all the other online sales platforms. If that's how it seems to me, it would be more correct to specify that the item in question is sold ONLY and EXCLUSIVELY with pickup point delivery.

Mentore1 year agoGranted that almost all sellers offer 2 home shipping, someone who offers only 2 store is a rarity.

OP1 year agoHaha, so am I particularly unlucky, or do I mostly buy items that I can't have delivered to my home.
In the meantime, I have disabled the option to deliver to a pickup point in my seller console so as not to cause confusion for buyers, at least until the mechanism is clear.
