This offer

Question

Hi everyone, I have an item up for auction at price x, I get an offer at a price that is almost double (2x). Before accepting, I’d like to wait until someone starts the auction because there are several users watching it and I think the price could go above 2x. If, when there is one minute left in the auction, no one has made any bids or the bids are lower than price 2x, can I still accept the offer? My question is: when the auction “starts,” does the received offer get canceled? Because I can see that both the auction and the offer expire in “tot” hours.

Hello,it seems like the mystery question...Maybe by "offer" you meant "proposal", because it's different, if you're talking about an auction...If the auction remains without an offer, you can accept the proposal whenever you want (within the duration of the proposal itself, of course, which is 48 hours)... but with the first offer, the proposal and the possibility of accepting other ones will be closed and removed.That said, you decide.Kind regards.
