Direct offer from the seller
Summary: The discussion concerns a "Seller Direct Offer," but does not include details about the specific content of the messages.
Good morning. I received two direct offers from the seller of a product I was interested in (I had only visited the page several times) at a discounted price, valid for 96h. The only usable link was "Review the offer" but clicking on it took me back to the product at full price (actually, even increased). I tried contacting the seller and he sent me the same offer again, with the same method. From the instructions I read on eBay there should be a "Buy" link but I don't see it. I would like to know please whether I am doing something wrong in the process or the offer is not valid.

OP8 months agoUSA seller, price of $40 "offered" at $27.50 ... but when you factor out VAT, it comes to a different amount, about $32.80, so it can't be

Mentore8 months agoGranted that adding 22% VAT to 27.50 gets you to 33.55, also consider that VAT has to be paid on shipping too.
For total amounts under 150 euros, eBay collects the VAT.

Mentore8 months agoIs it a non-EU seller and the total price is under 150 euros?
If that’s the case, it could be the discounted price to which 22% VAT was applied.
