Summary: sonialbertonello expresses frustration about a problem encountered on eBay, where some of their bids were not accepted even though the auction had not ended yet. How come, even though the time hadn’t expired, eBay didn’t accept my various bids? This happened yesterday: basically I placed the first three bids and they were accepted, then I placed another bid and it wasn’t accepted, after about ten seconds I placed another one and it was accepted again, then over the next 10 minutes I placed 4 more bids and none of them were accepted, and the procedure was always the same, I placed the bid in the last 10 seconds.
Just a moment ago, same story: I placed the bid, a message with a red dot appeared and then disappeared right away, no chance of even reading it

Each user has credit limits within which they can make offers and unpaid purchases; these limits depend on the user’s history.
If those limits are exceeded, blocks are automatically applied. Only when the items purchased are paid for is the credit reopened.
