I buy and receive an item from the UK, I open the package and... surprise! The box was carelessly opened with scissors and the item was forced out, also damaging the cardboard "nest" it was kept in.I'm pretty sure it was customs because there was some tape right over the sender's address, and the item was sticking out of the box as if they hadn't bothered to put it back in its place, so I suppose the search was carried out in a decidedly... violent way!Now, since we're talking about a collectible item, it's clear that its value is practically zero compared to what I paid for it... is there any way to get compensation, or am I just screwed?
