I bought a book on August 6. I wrote to the seller telling him I needed it urgently. I paid by credit card. The seller never shipped it and, when I tried to contact him several times after the delivery date had passed, he kept not replying, not even to a formal reminder via eBay form. I also asked for a refund, and the seller didn’t reply to that either, so I received a message from eBay saying that the request was rejected. I would like to ask eBay to step in with the guarantee, but I can’t figure out how to do it because on the site there’s no way to resolve this 'dispute', in the sense that the only option I’m given is the page where I contact the seller to request cancellation of the purchase and a refund (something I’ve already done and that he, by not replying, has in fact refused). How can I get eBay to step in? On the eBay contact page, it says to contact them during office hours, but it doesn’t say what those are, or how to contact eBay. I feel cheated twice, by the seller and by eBay, which keeps sending you back to yourself and the seller...
