Item purchased, delivery failed because the recipient was absent and returned to the seller
Hello everyone, I made a purchase on eBay from a private seller, the purchase was made in August, but it was shipped (with express delivery) in September, they tried to deliver the package but I was absent for work reasons, I wasn't at home, what surprised me is that after this delivery attempt the package was sent back, I contacted the seller, he too was surprised by this, I have already paid for the product and I would like a refund but eBay is making me wait so long and I don't understand why all this time for the refund what should I do???

Mentore2 years agoFor all distance sales, if the courier certifies that the package is not delivered because of the recipient's fault (who is absent or refuses it), no refund is provided.
The item remains your property and you will have to arrange with the seller for a new shipment at your expense or for a partial refund (there is no obligation to refund, but as a rule the seller refunds the cost of the item minus shipping and fees).
