Item damaged by the courier
Summary: astin_76 started a discussion about an item damaged during transport by the courier. sika700 took part in the conversation, but no further details were shared in the dialogue.
Recently I sold my amplifier and shipped the package normally, adding eBay protection. The package arrives normally to the buyer, but as soon as he opens it he realizes that the amplifier is damaged, basically it's dented in one corner and the sound coming out is a bit distorted, signs that the package was handled badly (obviously it didn't have these dents before). Having purchased eBay protection I wanted to open a claim against eBay for damaging my package. What can I do?

Mentore10 months agoSo... first of all, eBay didn’t ship anything!
You must have used the service that eBay recommends to ship your package.
In any case, you can read through the whole process that Packlink requires in order to use the insurance that hopefully you bought for the full amount.

In any case, if the buyer opens a return request, you’ll have to handle it and refund them.
Kind regards.
