Item never received... And eBay sides with the seller!
The item never arrives and the seller claims to have shipped it. He says he sent it by priority mail and gives me a tracking code without proving he shipped it to my address.
The item doesn't arrive, I appeal and EBAY SIDES WITH HIM, saying (and it's FALSE) that he would have PROVED HE SHIPPED IT TO MY ADDRESS. But that's not true!
I didn't receive the item and I've lost my money. DON'T BUY ON EBAY, there is no protection against scammers

Mentore3 years agoPriority mail does not have a tracking code.
Ebay never sides with a seller who:
So it is obvious that this was not a shipment by priority mail (but at least he used post 1 with delivery confirmation) and that the postal worker certified that that code was delivered to your address.

OP3 years agoIn fact it’s Posta1, not priority mail, but there’s no proof that it was sent to my address.
They provided the code for a shipment to Rome that shows as delivered, and that’s it. They did not prove that they sent it to my address, and I never received anything.
The postman did not certify that it was delivered to my address, only that it was delivered; to whom and what, nobody knows.

Mentore3 years agoDo what eBay does in these cases. That is, ask the seller for a copy of their shipping receipt.
That way you can verify the address and see whether the delivery status actually refers to that package.
By checking the address and tracking code, you'll know who the postman said he delivered the package to.

OP3 years agoI asked the seller for the receipt, but he ONLY HAS THE CODE. He doesn't have a receipt with my address on it; he says that on Ebay he only gave the code, just like me. How did Ebay say that this would provide a shipping copy to my address? I asked Ebay for clarification, and in the meantime they accepted my appeal and refunded me. In the reasons for the acceptance, though, they tell me "that they're doing me a favor", that the package "was stolen from me or I can't find it". Absurd... But how dare they say something like that without any proof?

Mentore3 years agoInexperienced seller (and he got lucky). He should have photographed the envelope like this one with the 2D code and the address.

OP3 years agoTrue, but isn't it serious that he is inexperienced and that he doesn't have the receipt, or maybe he could be a scammer. The serious thing is that Ebay accepted his version without any supporting evidence in 15 minutes, then told me that I received the item... Absurd... Simply put, buying on Ebay was a nightmare

OP3 years agoNow Ebay is PROHIBITING ME FROM LEAVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK for the seller, who has provided no proof of shipment and delivery, instead claiming that he has PROVIDED PROOF OF SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY. Since this statement is doubtful, and also contradicted by the seller himself, I asked Ebay to send me a copy of these proof of shipment and delivery. Well, they won't send them to me for PRIVACY REASONS... Truly absurd... You don't receive the item and because of eBay you don't even understand whether you were scammed or robbed. You try to talk about it with customer service, but THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND ITALIAN and reply with phrases that make no sense... Real supercazzole... Last messages then I'll close the account, after 9 years in this valley of tears that eBay has become
