Item not available for purchase in Italy
Summary: slaim1958 bought two items from an English seller and asked for a partial refund of the shipping costs. The seller canceled the purchases and relisted them, but now the items can’t be bought from Italy, contrary to what the seller and eBay said. slaim1958 is looking for advice on how to solve the problem. marioelegio suggests that the seller may have changed the settings, providing a link to the international selling instructions.
Hello, I bought two items separately from an English seller. I asked whether he could refund part of the costs. He replied that he could cancel the two purchases so he could put them back up for sale together. I said OK and he refunded the two purchases.
From that moment on I can no longer buy the two items put back up for sale because they are visible only on ebay.co.uk since, obviously, the wording appears: "the seller may not ship to Italy". I let him know and he said he had changed nothing; in fact all his other items are sellable in Italy except these two. He told me that he had spoken with eBay and they said everything was fine and that Italy is not excluded.
Can anyone help me? Do you have any suggestions about this? If so, please give me a clear explanation I can pass on to him, because he doesn't seem to be very familiar with changing the settings...
Thanks to anyone who wants to reply.
Ale

Mentore2 weeks agoIf the listing now says that "the seller may not ship to Italy", it's obvious that something has been changed in this listing.
This would be the help page for an Italian seller; there must be something similar on ebay.uk
