I bought three records, which never arrived. I filed a review request and the seller refunded me for one and then sent me confirmation that the delivery had been made (according to him) on January 21 (records not received and no notice found in the mailbox).
I asked eBay to step in, and on January 25 they closed the dispute because the seller sent proof that the records had been delivered. So I only got back 7.50 euros and ended up losing 15 euros and records I never saw. At this point I’m wondering, did the seller actually ship them? (Hermes courier or something like that, never heard of them!) and why, if I left negative feedback, didn’t the seller stand up for himself? I’ve been a member for twenty years and I’ve never pulled any tricks; in one case, I even sent back the money they had refunded me, since the records arrived insanely late. eBay should keep a better eye on things and provide direct support without bouncing you around to pages with useless options. What do you think?

Mentore1 year ago….. You left 3 negative feedbacks even though one of the three records was refunded to you and for the other two there’s tracking that certifies delivery to your address.
I don’t think that’s fair behavior.

OP1 year agoYes, because the refund was made for 2.50 euros per record, records that I had bought at auction at an exceptional price....... Did he really ship them? Who knows!

Mentore1 year agoIf a package with that code shows as delivered to your address, what could eBay do?

OP1 year agoI simply would have liked to interact with a person. To be able to talk even though things went badly, with no solution

Mentore1 year agoAnd who could give you the solution if not the courier himself?
If the delivery guy has certified the delivery to your address, you can only take it up with him... by interacting with him!
Have a good evening.

OP1 year agoIf I’d known the name of the shipping company, up to a certain point I could get into a Hermes page, which I’d never heard of, and the tracking was stuck on January 7 (expected arrival date December 30), then I couldn’t access it anymore. There was something unclear in this transaction; the fact is that I never had any contact with couriers, shippers, postmen, or anything else. That’s how it went, oh well|
