Item no longer covered by Ebay warranty
Good evening, I purchased two Apple items from a private seller using Apple Pay as the payment method. The items were regularly covered by the warranty. When I received them, I discovered that they are two counterfeit items bearing the logos and serial numbers of the original products. I decided to contact the seller, who brushed me off, telling me to wait for eBay to intervene to resolve the dispute. I contacted support, who assured me not to worry since the items were covered by the warranty, and I was told to wait until March 14. Today I received an email saying: dispute closed, the item is not covered by eBay warranty. Why?

Mentore3 years agoThere is still a credit card linked to Apple Pay. Contact the institution that issued it and get help with a chargeback. Be careful about the terms and timing.

you probably waited too long... you should have involved eBay after 3 days from opening the return request if the seller had not taken any action.
