Summary: litlelamb's post is about a new item that has been made used. sika700 replied, but without adding any details.

I sold a new backpack with tags. After 20 days the buyer says they received it torn, but also says the item wasn’t of good quality.

They DO NOT send photos of the parcel they say was damaged (they claim I sent it broken)

they demand that I also pay the return shipping.

eBay charges me the amount I received, I RECEIVE THE TORN AND UNSALVAGEABLE ITEM (sent new) I appeal and receive a positive response

after two days the amount is charged back to me because I lost the dispute.

AT THIS POINT, GIVEN THAT:

THE BUYER HAS PROVIDED NO PROOF (was the packaging damaged??) I try to prove that the item shipped was new, I contact eBay and they tell me that the case is handled by eBay Germany (but I pay the fees to eBay??) how can I protect myself?

I will close the account because this is legalized fraud. after 21 years I will close the account
