Item regularly shipped and delivered via tracking, customer says they did not receive it
Summary: A participant shares a situation in which a customer claims not to have received an item that appears to have been properly shipped and delivered according to tracking. No further details or responses are provided to clarify the case.
Good morning, a week ago a customer bought a low-value item from me. My listing stated that shipping was by tracked priority mail. However, seeing that the customer was worried, I also made sure to ask him whether he preferred sending it by registered mail, with an additional cost of 4 euros. The buyer (incidentally, in the same conversation on eBay still visible) instead asked me only for the shipping method with tracking and did NOT pay the additional 4 euros. Today the parcel has been regularly delivered from Bologna to Palermo via the requested shipping method, according to Poste Italiane tracking. However, the customer immediately left me negative feedback claiming not to have received it. I have been an eBay customer for 22 years; if today I have to deal with these people who ruin my reputation like this, I give up.

Mentore1 year agoGood morning,
ask eBay to remove it, you've been a user for 22 years so you should know how to do it, by stating that according to the shipment it shows as delivered.
It doesn't hurt to try.
Kind regards.

OP1 year agoYes thanks, you're right, I already did everything. But this first negative feedback, given to me cold right away without any dialogue from the buyer, really upset me a lot. I had even explicitly asked him if he wanted registered mail and he hadn't wanted it. Now he writes to me that I should have sent him registered mail. Meanwhile he is UNFAIRLY and incorrectly ruining my reputation for the other sales in progress. I've been a customer for 22 years, but I'm old now and this buyer really made me go crazy.
