"item resent" without having resent it

Hello, I requested a return with refund for a product on eBay because in the photo (which you can also see below) the quantity of the item was 4, but I only received one. I’m looking at the same seller’s listing now and the photo has been updated, there are no longer 4 quantities, but one.

Given that the photo was misleading, I’m requesting a return of the product with a refund to the payment method. Meanwhile, the next day I notice that, according to eBay, I have already sent the return to the seller when in reality I haven’t shipped the package yet.

Question: was there an error on the company’s part? Will they refund me anyway without me having shipped the package?
