Broken object after a short time
Hello, in January I purchased an induction hob. After a month and occasional use of it, the hob stopped working. I contacted the seller, waited several days but received no replies. A few days ago I discovered that the seller in question is no longer an eBay seller. What should I do now? Just accept the rip-off or is it possible to ask eBay for help?

Mentore3 years agoEbay only guarantees delivery of an item that matches the listing. That’s why the ebay customer guarantee has a very limited validity period (30 days).
If you bought from an EU professional seller, you can ask (them) to make use of the legal guarantee. You should find their contact info on the listing, which should still be saved on your summary (at the bottom together with the VAT number).
Otherwise you can try to open a dispute on PayPal’s site or do a chargeback on your credit card (depending on the payment method you used).
