Item shipped but shipment stalled, eBay tells me to issue a refund
Lately I’ve been having all kinds of problems with eBay, and to think that for 16 years everything had always gone smoothly.
Now it’s the turn of a sale I made: I shipped the item on December 20, right in the middle of the Christmas chaos, and it got stuck with the tracking frozen in my city. I went to the sorting center and, through an internal search, they told me it was in Bologna (from Salerno) inside a cage waiting to be processed.
This didn’t stop the buyer, who went ahead anyway and reported the delay and demanded a refund.
eBay told me right away over the phone that it would be better for me to refund, so I did.
Long story short, today the tracking has been updated and says Bologna headed for delivery (naples).
What am I supposed to do now?!
Then I’d like to point out that every time eBay answers me on the phone there are people who aren’t native Italian speakers, and sometimes it almost seems like they don’t understand or have the slightest intention of believing me, geez!!

Mentore3 years agoGood morning,
unfortunately nothing, you can only count on the buyer’s honesty and come to an agreement for payment for the item, also because by refunding it, it has returned to your property.
As for support, it’s well known...
Kind regards.
