ITEM SENT - PICKUP IN PERSON
Hello, I shipped a package requested by the user, initially I offered pickup in person, but at the user’s request I shipped it and today it arrived. How do I confirm that I shipped it and get the money? It is currently in pending status

Mentore2 years agoYou just have to hope that the buyer is honest; in the event of a dispute you won’t have any proof of delivery, if hand delivery was expected.
Anyway, the money for new sellers stays on hold for 15 days, regardless of confirmation of delivery. You already knew that, since it was in the terms you agreed to in order to start selling.

OP2 years agoSo I wouldn't win the dispute in that case? Not even if I have the whole chat recorded plus proof of shipment and the recipient's signature? Really absurd
anyway, they still have to reply to me about marking the item as picked up, in case they don't reply and don't open a dispute (honestly), after how long will the funds be available?

In the event of a dispute, you wouldn’t stand a chance. EBay has a precise procedure with codes to scan for in-person handoff, and you did something else.

Mentore2 years agoIn any case, you're the one who has to mark the order as picked up, the buyer doesn't do it!
You're the one who has to scan the QR code or enter the pickup code in the procedure.... so I'd say have them give it to you and don't worry.
