item sold abroad with blocked funds
Good evening, I have a really important question: this morning I sold an item with free shipping that should arrive abroad. Once it arrived at my private mailbox, I realized that, between eBay's transaction fees and shipping costs, I would lose too much, and I want to ask the seller to cancel the order, because since I am a new seller, eBay will send me the buyer's money ... in more than a month! I read some guidance saying that, instead of taking the pending money sent by the buyer to pay the seller any refund, eBay could draw directly from my credit card ... Of course, I still haven't received anything from the sale ... And I don't have enough money to issue a refund ... What could happen and what is best to do in these cases? Thanks in advance to everyone!

Mentore2 years agoYou have to put money on the credit card and advance the refund according to eBay procedures.

Then after 15-20 days, eBay will credit the payment to your bank account.
If you don't do it, eBay will issue the refund, but you'll lose fees and charges.

Mentore2 years agoWhen you started selling on eBay, you accepted the terms of service and the rules, so now you must follow eBay's procedures. If you don't, eBay will issue the refund on your behalf.
It's never a good thing because fees and commissions will be added for this, the payment, which is now on hold, will no longer be enough to repay your debt, and so they will try to make up the difference by taking it from the account you've linked to your eBay account. If you block or drain the account, they'll hand it over to debt collection.
