This order was cancelled, not by me
Summary: damianozenobi expressed concern about an order being canceled that they did not initiate. marioelegio responded to the message but did not provide any additional information or clarification.
Good evening,
Let me tell you what happened: a seller canceled an auction order by stating that the cancellation had been requested by the buyer (me), which is not true, since: 1) I had taken part in the auction by placing a bid; 2) the seller closed the auction (awarded) and entered as the reason for cancellation that the cancellation had been requested by the buyer (the auction was closed early, as there were still 10 days left). The seller, privately, after I asked for an explanation, told me that it was a mistake because the product was not for sale. Am I at risk of receiving a warning from eBay for having "canceled" the order? Thanks.

Mentore1 year agoYou’re not risking anything, but the seller wasn’t being honest.
They would have been warned for canceling the bids and ending the auction early, so they used the excuse that the bid had been canceled at the buyer’s request.
