The matter is taking on grotesque aspects. Two days ago I wrote to you (after other messages to eBay and the seller with no reply): "Order of 06 March 17-09783-21548 never received and now declared nonexistent". Instead today my daughter Barbara Santacroce found the parcel in the mailbox (nonexistent? Unbelievable, and yet they should well know that at the time of payment on 06/03 I received an order confirmation), except that it had previously been tampered with, and inside there was the empty cardboard packaging of oil 31... theft! (photo attached) Now let it be clear that I will not give up and if I do not get apologies and adequate compensation from eBay I will take this all the way.
PS. The route was bumpy but always trackable and checkable (there were several back-and-forths between Lecco and Milan):

If you think it’s best, forward them the photo I sent you yesterday: I think I’ve already "bent over backwards" enough. It’s up to eBay to make it right by adapting its procedures to the specific case, and by taking responsibility (which I really think is to fulfill an order with delivery of an intact product: the theft was not done to me or my daughter, but to e-bay). I repeat and emphasize: I wrote to them and was not even given the courtesy of a reply. I believe it is in e-bay’s interest to close this matter quickly and decently (it was a gift for my daughter)

I would like to point out that eBay’s procedures work in a specific way... if you think eBay applies them automatically without the buyer’s intervention (so, you), eBay will do absolutely nothing... since first of all it hasn’t sent you anything... eBay doesn’t sell anything... so eBay is only an intermediary between you and the seller, therefore if you don’t cooperate, the seller will have the upper hand.
So I repeat the advice already given to you by Mario: open a return request for item not as described... if you don’t do that, everything will stay as it is... only in this way can eBay help you... eBay does not open automatic requests based on simple messages!

Only eBay customer service can let you send them a document.
