Order not present in purchase history

Hello, I made a purchase on Ebay with my personal account and paid via Pay pal: I received the email from pay pal with the order number and with the indication that the payment went to Ebay s.a.r.l.
In my account purchase history the order does not appear. On my Pay pal account the purchase history appears and the link to track the package but it doesn't lead to anything, it simply redirects to the home page of my Pay Pal account. Can you tell me how I can proceed? The seller does not appear anywhere, the only indication from Pay Pal is that the payment went to Ebay s.a.r.l.
