"Shipped" order with created label but item not available
I purchased a product, yesterday they generated the label for me and on Ebay it shows as SHIPPED
This morning they contacted me saying that the product in the version I bought wasn’t available and asked if I wanted: 1) another version 2) wait 6 working days for it to arrive
I thought about it a bit and in the end now I asked to cancel the order
I need to proceed with buying from another seller but I’d like to understand whether the merchant might not unlock the order and what would happen in that case
Besides, I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but on the order it says "Returns accepted until Feb 16" so if they ship it it would practically arrive just after the deadline for the return

Mentore2 years agoFor a change of mind, you can return it within 14 days of receiving the goods.
Anyway, on your order summary you should be able to see whether the order has been canceled, and within two days you should also receive the refund confirmation.

OP2 years agoI see it as SHIPPED, but that’s already been the case since yesterday; they would have handed the package over to the courier today if I had accepted the different model
but the seller only offered me option A exchange and B waiting, I asked to cancel
since he doesn’t have the item in stock, he won’t be able to meet the expected delivery date
I don’t know what happens in this case if he doesn’t cancel
For sure I don’t want to pay for the return myself
