For the first time in many years, I find myself writing a message in this forum. I recently sold a camera; first of all, I’m a professional photographer and this is what I do for a living. In the listing it was clearly stated that the camera had damage on the display, but it works perfectly both with touch and everything else. Anyway, after 20 days, because the user had to buy a lens to mount that he didn’t have, the user is asking me for a return, telling me that the camera isn’t okay because the defect was much bigger. Absolutely untrue. The detail was clearly stated, I also wrote that it had a few more shutter clicks, which I showed him before sending it; I could have easily left that out, but precisely for that reason I included it, out of scrupulousness. On a camera with 200000 shots, it had a few thousand more. Now I’m not accepting the return because everything was stated, we’ll see what eBay decides. I’ve already ended all my listings pending eBay’s resolution. But can you tell me what you think eBay will decide? And if it decides in favor of the return, what guarantees do I have that he’ll send me back the same camera of mine in the same condition?
