get a refund as an unregistered user
Hello,
I made a purchase as an unregistered user and once I received the package and noticed the poor quality of the product, I asked the seller (a store) for a refund, and they accepted the return, provided that the refund request was closed first. How should one handle cases like this? Is it possible that after the request is closed, the seller could retract what was written earlier, take back the package and not issue a refund? Thank you.

Mentore3 years agoIf the seller refunds, the process closes by itself.
If they don't, ask eBay to step in. https://www.ebay.it/help/buying/returns-refunds/returning-item/returning-items-bought-guest?id=4065&st=3&pos=1&query=Ottieni%20aiuto%20se%20hai%20acquistato%20un%20oggetto%20come%20utente%20non%20registrato&intent=non%20registrato&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1151

Getting help from eBay
In most cases, if you have a problem with a purchase, the seller will be able to resolve it. However, if after 3 working days the seller has not been able to resolve the problem, we're ready to step in. When the 3 working days have passed, you can ask us to step in at any time within 21 working days from opening the request. You can ask us to step in via the order confirmation email.

Mentore3 years agoNever close return requests just because the seller asked you to... if you close it, you won't be able to reopen it and you won't be sure the seller will refund you!
So tell them that they will be the one to close it when they issue your refund.... and follow the procedure carefully!
Kind regards.
