Thank you for reading about my problem:I shipped the item, a watch with its original box and warranty, to the buyer’s address within the time frame and with the tracking provided for by the sale.The package arrived, and the buyer accepted it.Shortly after, the buyer opened it and it contained everything (box, warranty, booklets) except the watch.The buyer contacted me immediately, we spoke on WhatsApp, and he sent me photos of the tampered package.According to the carrier’s acceptance, which weighed it and wrote it down in front of me, the package had a weight of 278g, and the buyer told me it weighed only 232g on arrival and had signs of tampering, as shown in the photos I received via WhatsApp.The buyer had the watch sent to the watchmaker’s shop where he works.The buyer filed an eBay claim and was fully refunded.I asked for the box and warranty to be returned to me, but the buyer refused, saying that one of his colleagues had accidentally thrown them away.I asked to have back my watch warranty and box so I could start an investigation with the police.I filed an appeal in the dispute, describing everything and attaching the complaint to the carrier and my report to the police.The appeal in the dispute was closed a few minutes later and I could no longer do anything.I asked eBay for a direct email or some communication to explain what happened, maybe even with a lawyer, and they sent me an address in Germany.Meanwhile, the money the buyer had sent me never reached me because the bank account was closed.I sent the new bank account number, I informed eBay about the issue with the closed bank account, but eBay still charged my account to refund the buyer directly to my new bank account. Surely eBay, after I contact support yet again, will refund me, clearly deducting the fees. Now I wonder, if the police ever do their job properly and return the watch to me, why shouldn’t I get back the warranty and the box too?Why did eBay proceed with the charge on my bank account even though none of my accounts ever received anything, since one was closed (the IBAN was incorrect because the bank was sold)????I am not attaching photos because they contain sensitive data.
