Package arrived empty
Hello, I received a package, but when I opened it, it was empty; someone had opened it and then sealed it back up, stealing the contents. I contacted the sender, who tells me to file a theft report and send it to him so he can see if he can do anything with the insurance. Is that the correct procedure?
Or do I need to contact Ebay about what to do? It's the first time this has happened to me, even though I have bought and sold various things.

Mentore1 year agoYou need to open an eBay return procedure for item not as described (the empty package is definitely different from the item described in the listing), the seller will have to refund you.

The claim has to be filed by him in an attempt to recover from the insurance, you can help him with video or photos.
