Package with a tracking code and not yet received
Good morning,
I wanted to ask for some advice. I bought a motherboard for a Dell notebook in England and the seller sent me the shipment tracking for Royal Mail. Delivery was expected for January 2 / January 4, 2023. Not seeing anything arrive, I checked the tracking and it is still stuck at the beginning. I contacted the seller, who says he did everything correctly and that they don't know where the package is, and from his checks it seems that between strikes and holidays there are delays and he urges me to wait at least until January 25. My question is: if I wait that long, could I lose the refund in case of non-delivery? Would it be better for me to report the situation to eBay before it's too late, also telling him? thanks

from the presumed delivery date you have 30 days to open a report on ebay.
So assess and decide based on the timing what you prefer to do.
Remember anyway that your package will pass through customs, so a delay is acceptable, given the period.

Mentore3 years agoeBay Buyer Protection is active for 30 days from the last estimated delivery date.
maybe wait until next week and then open a report, wait the 3 days available to the seller and then, if you don't receive the item you bought by the 21st day from opening the report, ask eBay to step in for the refund.
