Package delivered but never received

Hi everyone, not being able to receive a package from England because the Seller did not ship outside the country, I asked a friend to receive it for me, promptly changing the shipping address; I also asked for the shipment to be made after April 27 because before then my friend was not at home and there was no one in the building where he lives. After a series of reassurances, the seller shipped the package on the 24th with delivery on the 25th (it was Saturday) and the mail carrier, finding no one, left the package outside, at the mercy of passersby. The package therefore shows as delivered, but in fact you can clearly see that it is not. I pointed this out to the seller, who said he would look into it and then forwarded me the reply from the UK postal website, the same one I had consulted. I submitted a claim to eBay, which closed the case stating that for them the package had been delivered, and now I have appealed, presenting the photo that shows it was left outside … I really don’t know what to think anymore, also because I too am told that it was delivered, someone must have signed for receipt of the package, when in fact that is not the case and no notice was even left my friend was contacted (I had left his phone number) to arrange a new delivery

Mentore2 months agoIf the courier has certified that they delivered the package to the address on the label, there will be very little for you to do.

OP2 months agoI appealed and they rejected it, saying that the tracking is what counts; fortunately though they told me to file an appeal with the British postal service, attaching the photo of the parcel outside the building, in which case they are responsible for it and, in turn, the postman who left it outside the building itself!
