Good morning. On December 9 I bought a watch from England, also paying a sort of mandatory insurance for customs fees. It was shipped with Royal Mail but it has been stuck since December 11 with the last tracking update

Since not much time has passed, eBay isn’t helping me because it says it could still arrive, and the sender tells me I need to contact eBay. Delivery was expected between December 18 and 24. Is it possible that it’s stuck in customs even though I paid beforehand? Thanks in advance

the package still goes through customs... even if you pay it beforehand.
Given the time of year, I wouldn't worry.
You'll be able to file a report only after December 24.
