package being returned stuck at the Poste hub
Summary: The discussion thread labeled "pacco in restituzione fermo HUB poste" contains no substantive content or details, consisting entirely of placeholder text.
Good morning,
I bought an item with the shipping address at a parcel shop that, however, only receives parcels from BRT (without my knowledge!) ; the seller shipped with Poste Italiane, so the parcel was returned to the sender!
the parcel had left on 13/01/2025 and arrived on 15/01/2025 and on the same day was sent back to the sender. On Poste's online tracking and from a phone call with Poste customer service, it appears that the parcel is still stuck today at Poste's Sesto Fiorentino hub.
what can I do??

OP1 year agothe pickup point is not physically staffed but there are only closed boxes, so I don't know what happened.
To date I have spent money and have received nothing, and I don't think it is even the seller's responsibility if the package is stuck at an HUB that has no front office for customers.
advice welcome

Mentore1 year agoBRT Fermopoints are staffed, I’m afraid you chose delivery to the wrong pickup point.
You selected a BRT Locker and not a BRT Fermopoint.
I BRT lockers are automated electronic lockers designed specifically for collecting and sending parcels handled by the BRT express courier.
Obviously only the BRT courier has the universal key to open the lockers and put the parcels in them; the other couriers cannot have it.

Mentore1 year agoYou need to ask the post office this question.

Mentore1 year agoWho told you that? BRT fermopoint locations accept parcels from any courier, if they are within the size and weight limits. Only registered letters are excluded, as they require authorization for pickup.
Explain better what happened.
