Package not received by the recipient

I sent a package correctly but the recipient was not present at the delivery the package was returned without any notice and is being held nearby but I don't know exactly where, why am I being held responsible? Where can I pick up my package?

The package must be returned to the place it came from. So there could maybe be some issue with the label. Better contact the courier's local branch.

You shipped the package... obviously you're responsible for it and you'll have to try to recover it by contacting the courier.

As for eBay, if the tracking shows that the failed delivery was caused by the buyer's repeated absence, you can issue a refund minus the shipping costs incurred.
