Package marked as delivered, but never received

Good morning.
On November 9, I bought 7 LPs from a seller in Germany, which the seller shipped with tracking via Hermes. I followed the tracking, and the package had been at the HR Parcel branch nearest my home, Hermes' partner, since November 17 already. After several days, and after writing to HR Parcel without getting any useful news, I wrote to the seller asking whether he had any information. He contacted Hermes, but they did not give him the requested info. So, on December 2, the seller, very kindly, and without me asking him to, issued the refund. Yesterday, December 4, he wrote to me, having seen in the tracking that delivery had been made on the 3rd, asking to pay again, and rightly so. But in reality the package never arrived. I have no neighbors to ask, and this is the first time this has happened to me. At this point, what should be done? Thank you
PS: I noticed that there are several complaints online...

Now it's just a matter between you and the seller. It seems pretty serious to me that the courier marked the package as delivered.

OP9 months agoI refunded the money, because the seller shipped properly, evidently. I filed a complaint with HR Parcel, but I’m not confident. I saw online that there are several complaints..
I lost 86,50€

OP9 months agoUpdate: the package has finally arrived, at the same time as the email reply to my complaint to the courier. Better this way, obviously
