Package repacked by the courier, contents damaged.
Good morning everyone,
I received a package from SDA (sent with Spedirecomodo), apparently intact. When I opened it, the contents were damaged and I contacted the seller. We found out that the package that arrived to me was not the original one, and so (I assume) the courier had repackaged it. Given its good condition, the package was not accepted with reservation.
During my communications with the seller, I discovered that the original package did not have any padding, so I assume it may have broken in transit (in the photos in the listing, the package is shown in the manufacturer's original lightweight cardboard box, which I don't think is suitable for shipping).
When writing to the seller, I was told that the shipment, for low amounts (€50), could not be insured. What can I do to at least recover the money I spent?

open a return request for an item that is not as described... namely broken:
Return an item in exchange for a refund | eBay
Then the seller will handle the issue with the carrier.
