Package returned to sender
Good morning, I made a purchase on EBAY for a pair of shoes that I later discovered were a fake; I asked to cancel the order and the seller told me it was no longer possible, giving me instructions not to pick up the package when the courier delivered it so it would be returned to the sender. Did I do the right thing? Thanks

Mentore3 years agoWhat’s the point of asking questions after doing stupid stuff? Of course the dishonest seller (selling fakes) gives just as fake advice!

Mentore3 years agoOf course... and wait for the seller to arrange the pickup... obviously if you have opened a return request for an item that does not match.

Mentore3 years agoNo, that way you are completely in the seller's hands, voluntarily refusing the package voids the eBay Customer Guarantee, as you can read here:

Mentore3 years agoYou need to ask the seller, only they can issue it; if they don't, you won't be able to ask eBay to help you.
