Package received but product packaging is empty
Good morning everyone,
Unfortunately I’ve run into a real mess...
I ordered a photography filter from a Japanese seller, with a total value, including shipping, of about €60.
After a month of waiting, the package finally arrives and I go to pick it up at the Italian post office. I pay another €12 in fees and postal charges and go home.
I open the envelope and so far so good, I open the filter packaging but alas, the inside is empty!
I understand that this is a tricky situation because the seller might think I’m lying (he assures me that the filter was present at the time of shipping and that he even took photos). I then suggested that at this point it may have been stolen during the delivery process and he replied "...then report it to the police" ... What could I do? Go through eBay under "item not received"?

Mentore2 years agoGo through eBay but as an item not as described, that is, you received it but it doesn't match what you had ordered.
