Package refused and returned to sender with Poste Italiane

As a seller I sent a shipment that didn't go through, and as a result the return shipment to the sender was started, a shipment that is clearly stuck for 2 weeks and nobody knows where it is...
I contact Poste Italiane and they tell me I have to ask eBay.
I contact eBay and they tell me I have to contact Poste Italiane.
I try to contact customer service, the intermediary for the labels (Packilnk), but there isn't a real customer service, apart from a shipping complaints service form to fill out with data I don't have...
I don't know what to do and the package is still missing...
any ideas?
